Today, Amanda Seafoods A/S is much more than pressed cod roe. Our range of chilled, frozen, and canned seafood products for the retail market has become a great success. We also offer products specifically suited to the foodservice market, as well as flexible solutions for our industrial customers.
Amanda Seafoods manages four strong brands: Amanda, Glyngøre, Bornholms and 555. Our wide range of products featuring cod roe, mackerel, tuna, cod liver, kippers, saithe, haddock and salmon offer countless possibilities. We are also a preferred supplier of private label products and take great pride in developing new products and variants in close collaboration with our customers.
Innovation
Our innovative Product Development Department works closely with our sales team to meet market needs.
Our innovation process focuses on developing products with as few additives as possible and a high proportion of natural ingredients. We have a clear ambition to develop products that qualify for the Nordic Keyhole label and to source fish and shellfish from MSC-certified fisheries or ASC-certified farms.
Quality
Food safety is a high priority at Amanda. All production lines are IFS- and MSC-certified. The factory is equipped with state-of-the-art production facilities, and the packaging of canned products is almost fully automated.
Amanda Seafoods’ Quality Department works daily to ensure that the company’s quality control system meets applicable requirements and EU legislation.
