Jacobsens Bakery – The Innovative Danish Butter Cookies Specialists
Jacobsens Bakery offers the iconic high quality Danish Butter Cookies in traditional blue tins, exclusive embossed designer tins and in tins under different licenced brands and has recently launched a range of new “everyday” products in flow-packs and boxes ranging from a 50g snack pack to the 200g pack. – products, which will give a higher degree of everyday presence on the shelves outside the seasons.
The products are produced on state-of-the art, fully automated baking and packing lines – using the latest technology. Equipment and systems are constantly been monitored in order to optimize capacity and to secure a high and consistent quality level, flexibility and just in time delivery.
As a global player, Jacobsens Bakery is aware of the responsibility we have and the rules we are to follow in relation to employees, customers, suppliers and other business partners in the countries in which we active – responsibilities and rules for which we always strive to live up to.
Jacobsens Bakery is partly owned by Jan Jacobsen, CEO and partly by the GIVESCO Group, which include companies like DanCake, Carletti and OK Snacks.
Quality
In August 2003 Jacobsens Bakery Ltd. received the HACCP certification as a first step of a formalized quality control system within the company. In the following years Jacobsens Bakery was BRC certified and later also IFS certified – both with high scores following the annual audits.
The quality control system is constantly being monitored and improved so that it is in line with the legislation in each of the markets we are active and in line with the standards set by our customers.
Jacobsens Bakery is audited on a regular basis by its major international retail customers and alliance partners and the standards set by these customers are worked into the overall quality control system – securing that the system is up to date – today and tomorrow.

Jacobsens Bakery has over the years developed several new concepts and was i.e. the first to introduce the DESIGNER TIN and the EMBOSSED DESIGNER TIN – giving the consumer more value in terms of after use of the tin for various purposes inside the home.
Jacobsens Bakery was the first to introduce several NEW TIN SHAPES within the category – each targeted at specific consumer groups and usage and after usage situations.
Jacobsens Bakery has succesfully launched a number of CHARACTER PRODUCTS from major licensors in the category.
