Overlooking the Faroese mountains, former footballer Jon Andersen came up with the idea for STATE in the autumn of 2012 – an idea to develop functional beverages on a higher level than anything the market had been able to offer him before. Could you raise the bar for an energy drink, combining all the best possible functional ingredients in a single product, ready to take on the go? A product he would want to buy himself.
With the vision for STATE in mind, Jon Andersen – together with his friend, co-founder and former footballer Kim Have – brought together a strong team of elite athletes, professionals, ambassadors, investors and international experts.
After three years of highly intense, perfectionist work, STATE was finally ready for launch in the autumn of 2015: a product with unique, well-documented effects not previously seen in the industry when it came to carbohydrates.
Besides Palatinose, each bottle of STATE also contains 128 mg of caffeine, equivalent to roughly 1.5–2 cups of coffee per bottle, and green tea extract equivalent to about 5 cups of regular green tea per bottle. It also contains the amino acid taurine, natural Danish mineral water, and vitamins B6 and B12, which contribute to normal red blood cell formation and help reduce tiredness and fatigue, as well as niacin and pantothenic acid, which contribute to normal energy metabolism and normal mental performance. Finally, 480 mg of salt, natural Danish mineral water and unique flavour aromas are added.
Our zero variants contain no Palatinose and are therefore free of both sugar and calories. The sugar-free variants also contain the same active ingredients — green tea, caffeine, taurine, and vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12 — plus natural Danish mineral water, and are additionally fortified with magnesium and vitamins D and E.
