At Toms Confectionery Group, we produce all of our chocolate products from the finest raw ingredients. Since we produce our own chocolate, caramel, marzipan and other semi-finished products, we have full control over the production process. • Safe products. Our well-established systems are implemented to control traceability, product quality & allergen control. All our suppliers are Orkla approved according to BRC standards. Our production is BRC approved. We have HACCP and quality plans and are audited by European leading retailers.
• Production and Packaging. Working with sustainable packaging solutions. Recycled packaging and cardboard made of 63% recyclable material. Are continuously working with reducing CO2 emission, waste, and water consumption reduction in production. A successful project has been using excess heat for district heating.
• Sustainable sourcing. Potatoes are Global GAP, and all suppliers are Sedex approved.

Jacobsens Bakery offers the iconic high quality Danish Butter Cookies in traditional blue tins, exclusive embossed designer tins and in tins under different licenced brands and has recently launched a range of new “everyday” products in flow-packs and boxes ranging from a 50g snack pack to the 200g pack. – products, which will give a higher degree of everyday presence on the shelves outside the seasons.

The products are produced on state-of-the art, fully automated baking and packing lines – using the latest technology. Equipment and systems are constantly been monitored in order to optimize capacity and to secure a high and consistent quality level, flexibility and just in time delivery.

Quality

In August 2003 Jacobsens Bakery Ltd. received the HACCP certification as a first step of a formalized quality control system within the company. In the following years Jacobsens Bakery was BRC certified and later also IFS certified – both with high scores following the annual audits.

The quality control system is constantly being monitored and improved so that it is in line with the legislation in each of the markets we are active and in line with the standards set by our customers.

Jacobsens Bakery is audited on a regular basis by its major international retail customers and alliance partners and the standards set by these customers are worked into the overall quality control system – securing that the system is up to date – today and tomorrow.

Elizabeth’s legacy

Eliza’s history dates back to 1936, when Elizabeth Petersen founded her elegant chocolate shop with her own production on Åboulevarden in Aarhus, Denmark.

Elizabeth made her popular chocolates here according to her own recipes, and always with the finest quality ingredients.

An experience in the shop

The shop was full of delicious, filled delicacies, chocolate, and marzipan bars.

The delicacies were individually selected, Elizabeth placed them in a box, and the customers left with their purchases in beautiful, monogramed bags, which even then signalled uncompromising quality.

The continuation of a life’s work

It is the same principles of craftsmanship and quality that we build on at Eliza today – just on a much larger scale.

Carletti’s offering goes from a broad range of standard and speciality chocolate lentils, available in different sizes, colours and formulations, to our Pick & Mix solutions with flexible assortment options, as well as our praline range of high-quality chocolate products for retail, seasonal assortments and private label.

Carletti’s production sites are certified according to internationally recognised food safety and quality standards, including IFS and/or BRCGS.

These standards define strict requirements for food safety, quality, hygiene, traceability, production facilities and employee conduct. We also work with recognised sourcing standards such as products with Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa, and we only use RSPO certified palm oil.

Carletti continues to work with ESG-related initiatives and reporting. For the second year in a row, we have been assessed by EcoVadis as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen ESG documentation, transparency and governance processes.
