Scandic Food A/S is a subsidiary of Good Food Group A/S. Originally a family-owned company founded in Denmark in 1951 – and now owned by the investment company Maj Invest.
With an annual turnover of more than USD 200 million, the company brings a broad variety of food products to consumers in more than 75 countries worldwide. Jams and marmalades, oats, honey, condiments, and non-dairy creams for cooking and whipping represent the major part of the production, which accounts for several thousand of tons per annum from our factories located in Denmark and Poland. This large volume of production enables us to offer high-quality products at competitive prices.

From farm to table
Good Food Group has its deep roots in Denmark. A country that for decades has been known worldwide for its high level of food safety and food quality. The principle of Danish food manufacturing are used in all factories. All products are manufactured according to European standards of quality along the whole value chain (from farm to table), thus securing appropriate raw materials, production methods and final packaging.
Besides having the factories approves by the authorities, all our factories are certified according to third-party quality and HACCP standards such as BRC and IFS – and are frequently audited by certification bodies and customer’s QA departments.

In order to meet the growing consumer demands for new and innovative products, the R&D Department of Scandic Food is constantly developing new recipes that match our customers’ needs and expectations.
As a result, we also specialise in organic, vegan, gluten free, as well as other ‘free from’ categories.
Providing our customers with a wide range of branded products as well as private label solutions tailored to our customer’s needs, be it hard discount or high-end, we are deeply valuing flexibility and customer-oriented mindset.
